Protection for Always

How many times do you feel like you need rescued from enemies?  Do you even feel like you have enemies?  Is there someone that whenever you get around them that you are uncomfortable or that they just radiate hatred?  It seems like everyone has an enemy or two.  No matter what, if you are close to God, Satan has an issue with you.  He wants you to fail.  He wants to tempt you into making bad decisions.  He want you to turn as far away from God as possible.  He uses people, things, morals to get at you.  But if you do what David did in this psalm, and talk to God about it, God will see you through.

Psalm 35:1-6

Contend, O LORD, with those who contend with me;
         Fight against those who fight against me.
    2Take hold of buckler and shield
         And rise up for my help.
    3Draw also the spear and the battle-axe to meet those who pursue me;
         Say to my soul, "I am your salvation."
    4Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life;
         Let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me.
    5Let them be like chaff before the wind,
         With the angel of the LORD driving them on.
    6Let their way be dark and slippery,
         With the angel of the LORD pursuing them.

Have faith!  God will fight for you.  He will be your protector, taking up his armor and doing what is right.  You do not have to be worried about that.
