Mary was a young teen.  She was only fourteen.  She, at that tender age, didn't know what was in store.  Mary was probably ridiculed for being promiscuous, and her family had to feel dishonored.  But the Bible doesn't tell us about that.  The Bible tells us that she did what God asked, eagerly, without thought to the concequences or outcome.  The Bible tells us that she was first, a servant of God and then his mother.  This song, shows the mother in her.

A Cradle in Bethlehem
Words and music by Larry Stock & Alfred Bryan
Sung by:  Greater Vision

Sing sweet and low, your lullaby
'til angels say amen
A mother, tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem.

While wiseman follow, through the dark
A star that beckons them
A mother, tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem.

A little child shall lead them.
The prophets said of old
When storm and tempest keep them
until the bell is tolled

Sing sweet and low, your lullaby
'til angels say amen.
A mother, tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem.

A mother, tonight is rocking a cradle in Bethlehem.
