Psalm 125:1 - 2
1 Those who trust in the LORD
Are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever.
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
So the LORD surrounds His people
From this time forth and forever.
This weekend, we celebrate the birthday of our country. It is a joyous time to get together with family and friends. We eat, we march in parades, we end the day with fireworks. But, do you take the time thank God for this great country, founded on Christian principles. We need to remember that God loves America and gave us the prosperity because those before us trusted him. He surrounds us and protects us. We just need to keep looking to him for our guidance. We need to pray for our leaders and our people to turn to him. Happy Independence Day!
