Child-Like

As an adult, people look down on us when we act childish.  But when we come to God, we need to be child-like.  I hope God sees that my trust in him is not childish, but child-like.  I want to always feel safe and secure in the Lord.  I want God to take me where he wants me to go.  I want to do things that are just right for my ability, according to Christ, not according to me.

Psalm 131

 ¹ O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty;
Nor do I involve myself in great matters,
Or in things too difficult for me.
² Surely I have composed and quieted my soul;
Like a weaned child rests against his mother,
My soul is like a weaned child within me.
³ O Israel, hope in the LORD
From this time forth and forever.
