Psalm 34: 10b
But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing.
What a nice promise! Seek the Lord and he will supply all your needs. We are a needy bunch, aren't we? We want this, that, and everything in between. A lot of what we want is good, health, peace, safety. Some of what we want is not good for us. But God knows better than we what we need. He will make sure that his children have what they need and will not want for it. Now sometimes we may feel that what he gives us is not what we need, or comes just in the nick of time, but we are children. What do we really know? As a parent we are trusted by our kids to give them what they need. We make mistakes. But God doesn't. We need to trust our parent and know that he is the coolest father ever!
