God is in Control

Do you ever wonder if God really hears you?  Do you feel that your prayers are said in your mind and into the silence?  Sometimes we get so frustrated because that situation we prayed about is not going the way we prayed it to go.  We have to remember that we are not in control. We can control what we do, but we can only watch other's as they make decisions and go down the right/wrong paths. 

The writer of Psalms 77 seemed to know that God heard him. 

 ¹My voice rises to God, and I will cry aloud;
         My voice rises to God, and He will hear me. 

The writer goes on to ask if God has rejected him or changed.  But he realized that God has changed him.

  ¹⁰Then I said, "It is my grief,
         That the right hand of the Most High has changed."  

The writer starts praising God.  He remembers that God is in control of everything.  So we too, should read this chapter and try to see that God is control, whether we like it or not!
